Day 1: North York to Downtown & Distillery District – 46km+

Starting in North York, this easily accessible ride quickly connects to Toronto’s trail system and urban forest via the Humber Valley. Ride 20km south on this paved trail that winds its way alongside the river that was originally used by First Nations as an important transportation route north to the Upper Great Lakes. Enjoy the shaded park trails and green spaces that continue as the route meets Lake Ontario and the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, heading east towards downtown. Take a ride about the city, stop at Harbourfront or continue on to Cherry or Woodbine Beach, and Tommy Thompson Park before ending the day in the Distillery District and overnight accommodations at the Residence & Conference Centre/George Brown Waterfront Campus.
